Please join me in remembering the sacrifices that have made possible the freedoms we all cherish.  We shall NOT forget.

Oakville and the surrounding area will be having a number of events on Remembrance Day throughout the area, where we can honour our Veterans.

CEREMONIES IN OAKVILLE

George's Square ceremony

November 11, 2017, 11 a.m.
Veterans parade is hosted by the Oakville Legion Branch 114.

Trafalgar Memorial Park

BURLINGTON
 
Everyone is welcome to join Burlington in remembrance of the Tragedies of WWII and our veterans on Nov. 11.
 

When What Where
9 a.m. Sunrise Remembrance Day Service
This 30-minute ceremony takes place at the Naval Ships Memorial Monument in Spencer Smith Park. For more information, contact the Burl-Oak Veterans at 905-632-3118.
Spencer Smith Park
10:30 a.m. Remembrance Day Parade
The parade starts at Central Public School.
Brant to Elgin Street, Elgin to Locus Street, Locust to Ontario Street
11 a.m. Remembrance Day Service
This 45 to 60 minute ceremony is held at the Cenotaph, on the north side of City Hall. For more information, contact the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 60 at 905-639-6400.

MILTON (190 Ontario Street South Milton).
This Year Milton will also be having a Remembrance Day service. It will commence at 11am at The Evergreen cemetary. ?
