Chinese New Year is around the corner! This year will be the year of the dog. 

What is Chinese New Year?
Chinese New Year, also known as the Spring Festival in modern China, or simply the Lunar New Year, is an important Chinese festival celebrated at the turn of the traditional lunisolar Chinese calendar.

OAKVILLE

Oakville will be hosting a Chinese New Year Gala at the Oakville center for the preforming Arts in beautiful downtown. 

It will take place on Saturday January 20th, 2018 
from 7:00pm - 10:00pm
Doors will however open at 6:15pm

BURLINGTON

The Redleaf cultural Integration organization will be hosting Chinese new year celebration in Burlington.

From 2:00pm to 5:00pm 
Doors open 1:30pm

Redleaf Cultural Integration will host its 4th Chinese New Year Celebrations.It will take place at Glad Tidings Church. Featuring RCI senior volunteer award, multi-cultural performances, photo booth, door prizes and light refreshment after. Everyone is welcome to join this great event. Children under 12 and Seniors 65+ is free admission.Tickets are $5 for individuals over 12 and under 65.
