CANDELIGHT STROLL AND LAKESIDE FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS (OPENING CEREMONY)
Come down to Burlington as the downtown lights up for the holidays at the town's annual carolling event and the launch of the Lakeside Festival of Lights.
The festivities start at 6.00pm in civic square where participants will enjoy the following:
- Free hot chocolate
- Hot festive burgers by works gourmet burger bistro
- Complimentary candles, glow sticks and route map
- 6.45pm welcome from Local Dignitaries
- Official lighting of the CHML Tree of Hope
- Leave Civic Square as a group on the carolling procession following the town crier
The stroll starts at 7.00pm with musical stops throughout.
It will end at the Festival of Lights (at Spencer Smith Park).

SPENCER SMITH PARK The much anticipated Festival of Lights is back for its 22nd annual event, and will feature over 50 festive displays lighting up Spencer Smith Park (in Burlington) through the holiday season.
Wander through the park with friends and family, or enjoy a full view of the themed displays while driving along Lakeshore Road. It is a magical sight for the whole family, especially the young at heart.
